Simplifying Operations with a Custom Manufacturing ERP
The Client
Our client is specialising in the manufacturing of aluminium parts.
They needed an end-to-end ERP solution to manage the full business cycle, including:
-
Orders
-
Production
-
Warehouse processes
-
Invoicing
Previously, the company had relied on a large and overly complex ERP system that slowed operations and made everyday tasks harder than necessary.
They were looking for a simpler and more tailored solution. A solution designed around their exact business processes rather than generic enterprise logic.
Because the company operates across two countries, the new system also needed to support multilingual orders and workflows.
In addition, the client wanted to use AI to further optimize processes, speed up operations, and support better day-to-day decision-making.
The Product
We developed a well-integrated modular manufacturing ERP built around centralized master data and designed specifically for the client’s operational needs.
The system provides clear separation of duties between teams while maintaining strong visibility of data across departments, allowing management, operations, and finance to work in a coordinated way.
It supports product catalogue management with detailed item information, including technical diagrams and related production data.
Warehouse management functionality was included to handle repeating items efficiently and maintain better stock control, while invoicing capabilities completed the end-to-end process flow.
Since the company works in two countries, the ERP was designed to operate in multiple languages, ensuring smooth communication and usability across locations.
The Challenges
One of the main challenges was simplifying complex business processes while building a strong and reliable master data model that could support all core operations.
The system also had to be easy to use for employees who were not highly experienced with digital tools, which meant the interface needed to be intuitive, practical, and aligned with their daily work habits.
Another major challenge was importing and reorganizing data from a very complex legacy ERP system, while preserving the information necessary for future operations.
Beyond the technical migration, the project required a shift in employee habits and ways of working, which made usability and adoption especially important.
The solution also needed to support remote access for different user groups, including management, operational staff, and financial teams, each with different needs and responsibilities.
The Result
The new Production ERP delivered a highly intuitive and customized user experience tailored to employees with different skills and levels of digital confidence.
AI was integrated seamlessly into the system to support faster operations, simplify decisions, and improve overall efficiency. The company gained strong reporting and data export capabilities, giving teams and management better visibility into business performance.
Thanks to a well-designed software architecture, the solution is highly scalable and allows new changes and features to be introduced quickly as business needs evolve.
Most importantly, the system achieved very strong user adoption, replacing the burden of the old ERP with a simpler, more efficient, and much more effective way of working.
